Why Buy Custom Built Furniture

Highest Quality Lumber

Most furniture outlets sell high priced furniture that is simply not real wood. Veneer packaged on top of a MDF material. Facebook Marketplace is littered with pieces of furniture made from Construction Grade Lumber. This is a sub par material since this wood is still wet and will warp, split and crack over time as it dries.

We give you the opportunity to select among the highest quality furniture grade lumber on the market and handcrafted to ensure that your piece of furniture will last generations.

Select the Exact Size that Fits Your Space

You fell in love with a style table that someone had in their home or the big box furniture outlet had on the show room floor, however it doesn't fit your dining room or breakfast nook. No worries, send us a picture to custombuild@farmhousefurnitureky.com and we will give you a price for exactly what you need.

Joinery Method

Most table tops on Facebook Market Place are held together with pocket hold screws or simply, the boards are laid down next to each other with a small bead of glue. This is not a good idea.

We use a biscuit joiner to for our table tops. A football shaped disc called a "biscuit" is mounted in a small incision in the middle of each board where they lay next to each other. The biscuit will  expand with glue and is clamped together used pipe clamps to ensure a strong, tight bond.

Buy Local

Support your local businesses by buying from local, trusted retailers. We are a small family run business and that's how we will treat you, like family.

Lifetime Guarantee

If you want to save money and buy furniture off of Facebook Marketplace, ask if they will guarantee their table tops for life and see what their reaction is?

If your table top warps, splits or cracks (without any human and animal abuse), we will replace it for free.
