Yes, you will need to send an email to FarmhouseFurnitureKY@gmail.com to request which stain(s) and/or paint(s) you would like to see. We will then send it out to you for $7.50 per swatch.
It takes about 10 days from the time you bring it to our shop.
Step #1: Sand old varnish, stain, and paint.
Step #2: Paint furniture (sometimes, it needs primed depending on how much of the old varnish/paint was not able to be removed during sanding.
Step #4: Stain areas of table that client requested.
Step #5: Apply 3-4 coats of polyurethane to stained areas.
Step #6: Repeat step #5 two more times after using 220 grit sand paper to smooth surface.
Step #7: Touchups
We use Sherwin William's newest and more durable product that they have created thus far, Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel
This all depends on the specific piece you want refinished. Factors that are included in quote is size/dimensions, damages/repairs, pickup/delivery, etc.
Yes. All orders require a 50% deposit to hold your spot and begin the project. Deposits are nonrefundable once your order has begun.

Yes, we charge 6% (Kentucky) sales tax for all sales.
If you are using a credit card or debit card at our retail location, our system charges customers an additional 3% on top of the total price and sales tax.

At Farmhouse Furniture KY, we take pride in the high quality craftsmanship of our furniture. Our attention to detail from start to finish of a piece of furniture is meticulous. And so is our commitment to customer satisfaction. If you are not 100% satisfied with your new farmhouse furniture, this needs to be expressed upon pickup and we will do our best to make adjustments to your order to meet your satisfaction. If we cannot make it right, we will issue a full refund. By choosing to accept your order on the day of pickup confirms you are fully accepting your order in its "as is," unique, rustic condition. Meaning you are fully satisfied to keep it forever.

We have a 30 Day Warranty on all of our furniture including our custom builds and our refinished pieces.
Refinished Pieces - These pieces are normally second-hand or antique, and not always perfect! We do our best to source and buy furniture that is sturdy and still usable. If we are selling it, we have determined that it is solid. Like all furniture, you should expect some "wear and tear". Over time, the paint is likely to chip and you will experience scuffs and nicks. After the 30 days, we do not accept returns or give refunds.
We give out touchup paint for cases listed above, however, if you need further attention to your furniture, you can reach out to us and we will access the damages and charge a repair service fee. This fee will depend on the damages.
Custom Furniture - Custom built furniture is meant to last much longer and we build them with those intentions in mind. If you experience any warping in your furniture, we will replace to the tops for free! Please note that we use kiln dried, furniture grade lumber for all of our custom builds which means the moisture levels are very low when built. This prevents splitting, cracking, and warping! However, wood is like a sponge and expands and contracts based on humidity. You will need to keep the humidity in your home between 45% and 55% for ideal conditions for your furniture. Splitting, cracking, and warping on your furniture could mean that the humidity in your home is too high and/or too low.
