Shipping policy

At checkout, you will receive an option for pick up or 3rd Party delivery based on the state of your shipping address. Below is a chart to show our shipping zones and corresponding delivery fees if you choose curbside delivery.

Option 1: Pick Up

The first option you will have is if you want to pick up your furniture from our workshop in Williamstown, Kentucky. When you place your order, you will be sent a week that your build will begin. Pick up will be about 12 weeks from the date you order. However, we will be in close contact with you once your build begins and throughout the process. If you choose this option, you must pick up your furniture within 2 weeks of being notified of the completion. After 14 days of notification, you will be charged a daily storage fee. As a small business, we do not have the capacity to store furniture. We are flexible on timing for pick up within the 14 day notification. Just let us know your availability and we’ll work with you!

Upon pick up, you must take your time to look over your furniture to ensure you’re satisfied with all before signing off. To prepare for pick up, you will need to bring old blankets or towels for extra cushioning and straps to secure your furniture for the journey home. We will use your blankets and towels to help you wrap your furniture tops, chairs, and/or stools. We have supplemental supplies such as plastic wrap, bubble wrap, corner pieces, and foam to be used as needed. For tables, we will remove the legs or base to allow for easier loading and unloading. Our team will help you load the furniture.

Option 2: Curbside Delivery

We work with multiple third party delivery companies so that we can offer the best price and service to you. Please note, it can take 1-2 weeks to set up a delivery. We have no control of the third party’s availability, if their schedule is booked out, have to cancel due to unexpected maintenance on their vehicles, or experience family emergencies, etc. If your delivery is canceled, we will be working tirelessly to get it rescheduled with either the same company or a different one.

Please keep in mind that this service is curbside, the furniture can be heavy, and the third party may only send 1 person. Therefore, they may need help getting it to your door. You may need to recruit a neighbor, friend, Brother, Father-in-Law, etc. to help.

Once we have a delivery company scheduled, your contact information will be given to the delivery driver so they can contact you to set up a timeframe. Please clearly communicate your availability or any time conflicts with the delivery company to avoid any last minute rescheduling. You will need to plan to be home for the time range the delivery company gives you. We will inform you when we receive a pickup date from the company. However, the timeframe for the delivery will be between you and the delivery company. Sometimes, drivers have multiple loads in a day and it may be a few days or a week before they get to you. We know you are so excited for your table and that makes us excited! We just please ask for your patience and respect during this process. It takes a lot of time and communication to work out logistics.

Upon delivery, you must notify us within 24 hours via email with pictures if there are any damages due to delivery or if you are unsatisfied with your products. Please note, if you do not note any damages due to delivery upon receipt, we will not be able to address the issue. Damage caused by delivery does not include variations in color, finish, feel, filled knots and voids, minor cracks, exposed screws, visible brush strokes, minor paint drips, cupping/bowing/warping of the table top, etc. These aspects give each piece of furniture character and/or are part of the natural process of wood expanding and contracting.

Friendly Reminders:

  • The final payment must be received in full before your furniture leaves our workshop.
  • We build with real, solid wood that has character. Character includes, but is not limited to variations in color such as containing sapwood (wood closest to the bark and lighter in color) and/or heartwood (darker in color compared to the sapwood) that makes the wood appear to have stripes or streaks, knots (created by the connection of branches), voids (where knots have fallen out), rough patches, minor cracks, and live edges. There might be filled and unfilled knots, voids, and cracks depending on the depth and if the place is able to hold resin or epoxy. We cannot guarantee lumber to not have any of the above due to how lumber is graded, how we have to build the table to prevent any tension between the boards for it to last, and to avoid waste. Your furniture cannot be refused upon delivery for any of the listed reasons.
